VITALI was founded by Cindy Gu in 2015. While suffering from stress and depression, Cindy found that her yoga sessions were the only thing that helped her through that difficult time. She realized she wanted a tool to coach herself when stress arises. As an engineer and yoga instructor (Ah, okay Cindy Gu. You seriously rock!), Cindy came up with the concept of the VITALI Smart Bra. A bra that goes beyond smart watches and workout wristbands. Not only does this bra inform you of your activity levels, it helps you achieve balance and guides you toward zen and peace. The VITALI Smart Bra monitors your breathing, posture and your HRV (Heart Rate Variability) with a processor called GEM to indicate stress.

How it works:

"The GEM is the mind behind VITALI. The powerful processor collects data from all sensors to understand your pattern to give you bio-feedback by gentle taps. When your body reacts, GEM notices it immediately."

"The embedded fabric sensors measure ECG (electrocardiogram) directly from the heart and goes beyond an average wrist-based wearable. HRV (Heart Rate Variability) is a key physiological indicator of stress. When we start to get stressed, our HRV changes pattern.
